Earlier projects

Before Revenueee, Mixtive developed augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality products. The content below is preserved from the original Mixtive website.

Augmented reality communication

ARCall

With ARCall, we change how we communicate with the support of Augmented Reality. Feel the presence of your colleagues and friends by seeing them as lifelike avatars on the floor in front of you – through your mobile or AR glasses.

Partnering with Deutsche Telekom.

Next generation communication

Communicate as if you were here together, as a “Hologram” in Augmented Reality (AR). See colleagues and friends as lifelike avatars on the floor in front of you, through your mobile or new AR glasses.

AR meeting – an alternative to video meetings. Modern companies give their employees different communication options. Sometimes a phone call is best, sometimes a video call and sometimes a Hologram call.

Features

  • Messaging – features from a social messaging app, plus calling friends and colleagues in AR.
  • AR glasses or phone – see and talk to up to 10 friends or colleagues as lifelike avatars.
  • Get them near – your mobile can be converted to a mobile beamer showing holograms of friends and colleagues.
  • Screen share – in AR meetings you see your laptop screen, with presentations and documents, through your AR glasses.
  • Digital twin – a one-minute head scan with a mobile phone lets you appear as an exact version of yourself.
  • High audio quality.

Use cases

  • Remote guidance – help remote staff and customers in a new way.
  • Learn – enrich classroom teaching with sessions in AR.
  • Virtual conference – break-out sessions and meetings inside virtual conferences.
  • Meet – an alternative to video meetings.
  • Train – teach while seeing the machines or equipment in your room.
  • Sell – present products virtually in the customer's room.

Offering at the time

Company subscription at €10/user/month, packages combining Nreal AR glasses with ARCall licences, and a one-day professional training in effective distance work (€400/user).

Supported devices: iPhones (6s and newer), iPads and hundreds of Android phones; Nreal AR glasses. HoloLens 2 and Magic Leap on request.

Events

  • Augmented World Expo, Munich, 17–18 Oct 2019 (booth S20).
  • Slush, Helsinki, 20–22 Nov 2019 – investor pitch and press conference held in AR.
  • CES, Las Vegas, 6–11 Jan 2020.
  • MWC, Barcelona, Feb 2020, with Nreal – cancelled due to Corona.
  • Webinars and a live session from Norrsken House, Stockholm, in 2020.
  • Digital welcome at Norrsken House with ARCall's visual bot, August 2020.

Hybrid event solutions – 5G meet, Gothenburg

A concept for hybrid events for event managers that is user-friendly and provides new opportunities to network, present and sell products digitally, for example in AR. Hybrid events open up for visitors from all over the country and for export to visitors globally.

How it works

Visitors buy entrance tickets as usual. The basis is a website for the event where the digital parts can be consumed – some in AR via mobile phone, some via AR glasses for an even stronger experience.

When the fair begins, visitors see the exhibition hall in front of them, with stands and other visitors. Clicking a stand shows the digital stand in 3D in their own living room, as if it were there.

Digital 3D stands

Created by digitisation staff from ready-made templates and customers' wishes, or as an exact copy of a physical stand. Content can include video presentations of products and sellers presenting live in AR using ARCall, one-to-one or in groups.

Conference programme example

The original page showed an example conference webpage with keynotes, online mingle rooms (powered by partner Yotribe), sponsor visits, and parallel video, AR and VR tracks. The VR track ran on smartphones, Oculus Quest, Rift and HTC Vive.

Augmented reality for education

AR Schoolyard

Learn about and support the Earth and UN Global Goals by engaging students in fun and social activities while using Augmented Reality.

Proudly selected for support from Norrsken House 2020, SIDA 2019 and Vinnova Aktiva Skoltransporter.

Go explore

Discover challenges, interactive quizzes and augmented reality portals – eagles landing, lions approaching, young leaders showing actions for the Global Sustainability Goals. The app has a step counter so a class can “walk to New York or Paris together”.

A “Pokémon Go” at your school

  • Walk around the schoolyard to see challenges on a map.
  • Or, in the classroom, choose the subject you are working with.
  • Walk within 15 metres, open the station and explore challenges – some in 3D and AR.

Active school transportation

Teachers create classes, each with a unique class code. Classes are assigned challenges to do on the way to or from school, and everyone can see the kilometres the class walked or cycled together.

No positions are stored, so the handling is GDPR-secured – only distance linked to the registered email.

Plans offered

Basic (free), Premium ($500/year/school) and Pro ($900/year/school), with teacher control, local language, co-created AR stations and more.

Help through the whole process of digitising history using AR and VR for destination marketing organisations, and tailored digital solutions for experience, travel and tour operators.

“We are following the development of AR history at City Sightseeing Gothenburg. We see a very bright future for it. Highly recommend it for other City Sightseeing cities, e.g. as a digital guide activity for walking between the bus stops.”
